My best travel memory so far is… Going to South Africa for my 30th birthday! South Africa is by far the most beautiful place I have ever visited. It's blessed with every terrain-aquatic, desert, mountainous, and jungle, and that to me is the real beauty of this country. I was also able trace the footsteps of Nelson Mandela from his early years in Jo’burg to his imprisonment at Robben Island, Cape Town which was monumental. An experience I will never forget. My favorite hotel & why…The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin Ireland. From the moment I arrived I felt regal, the ambience was breathtaking. The view outside my window overlooked some of Dublin’s most historic landmarks and the location of the hotel was very accessible to shopping, food and entertainment. But above all the bed was absolutely divine, it almost made forget I was there to explore and not sleep. After partaking in the traditional afternoon tea in the Lord Mayor’s Lounge, the Shelbourne hotel claimed the number one spot for my favorite hotel! My must-haves on any flight are…Eye mask, earphones, socks, and snacks! When I’m on the road, I absolutely hate… Bland food, and chatty seatmates on the plane. My dream destination or vacation is…Any destination on the One&Only Resorts roster. OMGEEEE. The three things I can’t travel without are…My pashmina, my camera, and a sidesaddle bag. The top lesson I’ve learned while traveling is… Be flexible and keep an open mind. When traveling things don’t always go as planned—delays, missed connections, dietary restrictions, language barriers—but don’t let that stop you from making the best of your experience. My girlfriends and I have had some of the best memories and laughs from our travels when things didnt always go as we planned, those “lol” moments are the ones you will cherish for life.Already on your second or third passport?
