1. My best travel memory so far: That would be turning left when boarding a plane. In my younger years I had a great link and travelled upper class quite a few times to the United States. People have often asked if it's actually worth the extra money and the answer is hell yes! The Pyjama's, the bar, the masseuse, the hot chocolate with marshmallows in a mug ... If you have the money, I highly recommend travelling first class.
2. Favorite Hotel & Why: I often stay with friends but my favorite is Room 1217, Shangri- La Paris. The service is impeccable, the view from the balcony is of La Tour and they serve one of the best breakfasts in town.
3. My must-haves on any flight are: My own music, I'm sure the playlists on planes are designed to actually keep you awake. A long sleeve top, it's like people always forget that the minute the cabin pressure gets adjusted you will shiver and those blankets get washed maybe every 10 trips? Also, boiled sweets for when my ears start to pop.
4. When I'm on the road, I absolutely hate: People who refuse to adjust to their surroundings! If we are on a remote beach in the middle of nowhere, you're going to have to use that bush as a toilet. I also detest people not attempting to learn a few local phrases, speaking loudly and slowly does not make it easier for locals to understand you.
5. My dream destination or vacation: Japan for the shopping and lifestyle, Seychelles for the idleness.
6. The three things I can't travel without: My mp3 player, plastic zip ties (use them as locks that way you'll know if someone has opened your luggage) and my asthma inhalers.
7. Top lesson learned while travelling: Be flexible in your plans. I've seen to many people's holidays ruined because they had to stick to the plan. Change money before you travel! Trying to change a £ note in the U.S. is like trying to get blood out of a stone.
