Parlour Celebrates Year Four, London Style

 This year, the Parlour ladies celebrated our four year anniversary. Following our New York celebration in May, we decided to host a small gathering in London recently at Tiwani Contemporary gallery alongside the lovely Gabrielle Smith of IamtheNuBlack.com, who is also celebrating four years of her diasporic arts and culture website.It was a lovely evening indeed, including a screening of AfterGlow, a new short film by British-Ghanaian filmmaker Baff Akoto. (UK collective: if you haven't seen it already, the film will be screening at the London Jazz Festival this weekend.)Thank you to everyone who stopped by to take part in the festivities!
