Gold Medal Style: Puma Unveils Team Jamaica Olympic Kits

Remember when we told you about the Catch A Fire X Puma collaboration for the Jamaican Olympic Team? Fast forward one year and Cedella Marley's vision has transitioned from sketches to reality. Recentl, the official kits (uniforms) for all of Team Jamaica, to include the Track & Field Olympians were debuted in London and modeled by gold-medalist Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt. For Cedella, designing the is a journey she looks to continue for this and future Olympics:

“It is truly an honor to design this collection for my home country and my home team,” said Cedella Marley.  “It’s not even a dream come true because it’s something I never dreamed would be possible. I ran track in high school in Jamaica and I’m still a huge fan of Jamaican Athletics, so to have a role in creating the outfits for our Olympians is a thrill. I admire what PUMA has been doing in Jamaica over the years and the Marley family has the same type of give-back philosophy. I think this partnership is going to be legendary.”

Staying in the Catch A Fire design style which revolves around classic Bob Marley iconography and attitude, Cedella (Marley's second eldest child) managed to create a line that fuses national pride with utility and a "take no prisoners" attitude—just like her father. Seeing that Jamaica is the only country in the world that doesn't have red, white, or blue in it's national colors, this collaboration is guaranteed to stand out.
